The Soils Report Options Page controls what and how information is display on the Surety® Soils Map reports.

The options that are chosen and saved are user specific - meaning they will only change the soil options for the currently logged into username and password account. If a company has more than one license, each login will need to be configured one at a time if it is desired to have all of the soils maps uniform in their setup.

The Soil Report Options page can be accessed in two different ways. The recommended method is to click on the Soils Options button directly on the soil map that you want to adjust. This method will allow the adjustment to that specific map template. To use this button, you must have the Printing Option "Print maps from a Web Page" selected in the Options Page.

Image

The soils report options page can also be found under Tools> Options >Soils Report Options drop down menu item.
NOTE: Accessing the soil report options from the menu drop down will ONLY change settings for the original "Soil Map" template within your account. Any custom soil maps or the NDVI Soil report will not be affected. For these, use the button on the report itself.

Image

The Soils Report Options page has 5 tabs: Crop Yields, Illinois Productivity, Soil Features, Iowa ISPAID, and NCCPI.

It is important to click Save if any changes are made on any of these tabs.

Crop Yields

Image

If the first box is selected(Display Crop Yields on soils report), then one or both of the Irrigated or Non-Irrigated crops selections need to be checked in the boxes below.

Image

By default ALL available crop data will show on the report. If only specific crops are necessary to appear on the report, then click the "Add/Remove Crops" button.

Image

Check the boxes next to the crop type that you would like to show on the Soils Report. The crop list is long so make sure to scroll down to find all of the crops that you want. Note that this setting will not force these crops to appear as columns, rather, if there is potential yield data available for that particular crop then it will be displayed. If a crop type that has been turned on is not appearing on a soil map, then it means that no data exists for that crop in that location.

When you are done click the OK button.

There are additional options on which rating attributes to enable(where available) on the Soil Map template.
