¶
The Map Options menu is available in any form that contains a map.
First draw or select a border(s).
Note: if a boundary is not drawn or selected, Map Options is not available to use.
Choose the map or form to generate.
The default color of the border is yellow. The default color of the text is yellow with a grey outline.
To change the color size or visibility of the labels or color of the border, left click the
Map Options
button to the right of the map/form.
Note: You must
view your map as a webpage
in order to see the Map Options button. See:
Options Page
This will open up a Options window containing a number of different settings to change.
Remove Selection Layer:
The "Remove Selection Layer" is only available for Surety
®
Pro subscriptions. When this options is checked the system will look at which
form
layer the boundary was selected from and will hide that entire layer on the map.
As an example we will select a boundary from the Chemical layer and create an FSA Map. The Chemical layer formatting will still be displayed on the FSA map with the "Remove Selection Layer" disabled.
Click on
Map Options
and check the
Remove Selection Layer
. The map will reload and hide all of the boundaries and coloring assigned to the Chemical Layer since that is the boundary we had originally selected. If other forms were saved and displayed in this mapped area, such as an Invoice or Fertilizer Form, those boundaries would still be visible on the map (
if those layers were enabled in the layers panel
).
Limit Sections to Twp:
This setting will remove the section lines for all sections outside of the township(s) that the selected or drawn boundaries reside.
Text size:
This determines how large or small the acres (+ Field ID and Farm Name if in Surety Pro) label(s) show up on the map. The default setting is 8.
Text Color:
Click on the box to change the label color.
Text Outline Color:
Again, click on the color box to select the desired color of the outline of the text.
Border Color:
Change the color of the field border by clicking on this color box and selecting from a larger variety of colors.
Show/Hide labels:
Finally, show or hide the different label types on your generated map by using the checkbox next to the appropriate label type.
Note: Field Id and Farm Name are only available to Surety Pro subscriptions
