Forms Designer - Control Properties Panel

The Properties Panel (Control Properties) in the Form Designer is an important tool for customizing your perfect form.

It allows total customization of the different controls and objects placed on the canvas.

After opening up a new or existing Form, Grid, or List; the Properties Panel will appear to the right of the canvas.


The Panel is able to be moved around the screen for when it is necessary to place objects off of the printable area.
Simply left click, hold, and drag the Control Properties header.


You may also close the panel if necessary. To re-open the properties panel, go to View and click on "Property Window"


The contents of the Properties Panel changes depending on which type of control is selected.

• View
• Group
• Type (Format)
• Formula Editor
• Crop History Controls
• CopyField property (Quick Fill setting control)
