Forms Designer - How to open an existing form

Open an existing form template to either continue editing a created form that has been saved or allows you to open an existing form in the system to modify and save as your own copy.

To open a Form hover over File in the Forms Designer and click on Open ...

The list that appears is a list of all of the forms that are available to edit.
The forms with the Surety globe icon(Image) next to them indicate the "Top Level" forms. These forms cannot be overwritten but can be modified and then saved as a copy to just your account. See: Forms Designer - Save As

You can switch between the available Forms, Grids and Lists with the green buttons.

NOTE: If you have assigned a form template to a specific location or client level in the Save As dialogue, then you must have the appropriate location or client selected in the main interface in order to see that particular form within the Open dialogue.

You can select any existing form and the template will populate in the canvas area.

You cannot save over the Chemical Form but you are able to modify that form and select Save As to save it as a Form Name.

Once OK has been clicked, the Form will reload with the new Name

Once you are ready for the form to be available to select in Surety, first click File > Save

The click the box next to the word Release to place a check in it.

The page will reload quick and a "Release Done." message will appear.

This indicates that the Form is now able to be selected in the form list on the mapping interface.
