Transmission Lines Layer

Transmission lines can be added to the map interface in Surety^® and Surety^® Pro.

Note: The transmission line layer contains a collection of available transmission lines from a variety of sources but is not a complete dataset.

Enable Transmission Lines on the map¶

Enable the Transmission Line layer by first clicking on the Layers button find and select the Transmission Lines layer.

The lines will appear on the map with a default style of a black line with the line's voltage labeled.

Add Transmission Lines¶

To add a record to your company's transmission lines layer, start by using the Draw Line tool.

Draw the transmission line on the map with the Draw Line tool and then click on the Transmission Line link in the map/report list.

Enter the desired label (optional) and click Save.

The line will be added to your company's Transmission Line Layer.

Delete a record that you have added to your Transmission layers.¶

Use the select tool to place an X on the transmission line then click on the Transmission Lines link.

Click the Edit option

Click Delete to remove it from your database.
