How do I remove the website URL www.suretymaps.com/reports from along the top and bottom of my printed maps and reports?¶
Have you ever printed a map or a report from Surety or Surety Pro and noticed that maybe along the top and/or bottom of the printed page is in most cases our URL or website address?
Incidentally, this actually occurs due to what is called a Page Setup on your web browser. Therefore, it is a simple fix that you can do or have your IT personal do.
The good news is that there are two ways that this can be modified and we will demonstrate both ways. Please continue on reading.

Build Maps to PDF
Basically, there are two ways to accomplish this task, of which both ways will be demonstrated. The fastest and easiest way is to build your maps and reports into a PDF instead of a webpage. To do this you will need to first be logged into AgriData, Inc.'s website so that you are accessing either Surety or Surety Pro.
Once you are logged in, locate Tools in Surety's Menu Bar just above the map See also:

Then you will need to hover your cursor over Options.

Now click on Options Page.
 Click on Options Page. |
The Options Page window will open.
Under the sub-header Printing Options, you can choose to either Build maps and reports to a PDF or to Print maps to a PDF.
 Here you can choose at any time to either Build to a webpage or a PDF. |
Once you are finished click the Save button that is located near the bottom of the window. Additionally, once you save your settings, then your settings will remain saved.

Below are the instructions to removing and/or modifying the headers and footers on ALL materials from a webpage.¶
Remove Headers and Footers from Internet Explorer browser printouts.
1. Click the Gear Icon in the upper right corner of the page.
2. Hover over Print
3. Click Page Setup
4. Change all of the drop-downs under
Headers and Footers to "-Empty-"
5. Click OK
Remove Headers and Footers from the Mozilla Firefox browser.
1. Click the hamburger icon (3 lines) in the upper right corner.
2. Click Print
3. Click the Page Setup button
4. Switch to the Headers & Footers tab
5. Set all the drop-down options to "Blank"
Remove Headers and Footers from the Google Chrome browser.
1. Click on the 3 dots icon in the top right of the web browser.
2. Click on Print.
3. Expand the More Settings option.
4. Remove the check from Headers and Footers.
