Activate the AgWare Export option within a Surety or Surety Pro mapping interface to easily create and add Surety maps into an AgWare Sales project.

To start, The import functionality must be enabled within the AgWare software.

In AgWare, use the Edit drop down and click on Configuration

Image

Click on the Surety Tab and then check the Import Maps from Surety option and click OK.

Image

Within AgWare, open an existing Sale you wish to edit or create a new Sale.

IMPORTANT!
Once within a Sale, you will now log in to your existing Surety account using a special login page. This step only needs to be done ONE time. After that, you can access your Surety account using your normal method.

This login page can be accessed by going to the Tools option in the drop down and selecting Import From Surety

Image

In the pop up, click the Open Surety button.

Image

This will access the special log in page: https://www.agridatainc.com/Account/Login?partner=agware. Verify that the address bar contains the correct web address and then log in.

Image

Select or draw one or more boundaries on the map and then click on the AgWare Export link that is now available.

Image

If there is more than one boundary selected or drawn then there will be an option to "Combine Boundaries". This option selected will treat the multiple boundaries as one record and will generate only one map for each map type selected.

If not selected, each boundary will generate their own maps instead of both boundaries being displayed on each map.

Now select the types of maps to include in the export.

Image

To include the soils data as a database file, check "Include Soils data"

Image

If you would like to have the software remember these selections for the next export, click on Save Settings.

Image

Click on the Export ID number to copy it to your device's clipboard. This is the number that will need to be entered within AgWare to bring the exported maps into the sale.

Image

The other option is to simply download the PDF packet directly to your device by using the Download Files link.

Image

Once clicked, follow your browser download procedure.

Image

The exported file will be a zip file containing a number of different items.

  • ESRI shapefile and JSON file containing all of the boundaries
  • Individual PDFs of each map (per boundary if not combined in Export settings)
  • ESRI shapefile and JSON file of Soil type boundaries and soil attributes (if Soils were included in Export settings)
  • ESRI shapefile and JSON file titled "summary" that includes all of the boundaries as well as a the weighted averages of the relevant soil attributes.
