When using list data to populate items in a form, it may be beneficial to set a specific list item to automatically be filled in when a new form is generated.

How to Set a list item as the default.

In order to set an item to be the default or automatically entered one, first open a form and click on the ellipses button to access your list content. See:How to add, delete, and modify Form lists.

Next to the item that you would like to set as the default, click to place a checkmark in the default column.

You can test this by exiting out of the form and generating a new form containing that list.

Once it opens, the item that you chose will automatically be filled in.

Note: If there are multiple fields that use the list item (Product for example) it will populate all of them with the default.
