Minnesota DNR Public Water Buffer Map

Modified on 2020/10/06 19:15 by Adam — Categorized as: Uncategorized

A 2016 Minnesota buffer law requires specific buffer distances (up to 50ft) to be kept around public water features which includes rivers, streams, and ditches.

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has compiled a dataset layer with information for most if not all water features. You can display the buffer data overlay within either the Surety® or Surety® Pro mapping systems.

Click the Layers button to bring up the layers panel below it.
