What is the Dossier Studio?

The Dossier Studio included in Surety® Pro is a multi-functional organization and editing tool that's purpose is to remove the
tedium involved with creating packets and groups of different forms and maps all with the same and/or different boundaries.

The Dossier also provides the ability to the end user to mark up the maps with different shapes, symbols, drawings,
text or even imported pictures.

Open the Dossier Studio in one of four ways.

Once the Dossier Studio is opened, it should be left opened. If closed, the maps and forms within it will close too.
1.) Go to File > Dossier Studio from the mapping interface.

2.) Create a map or form and click the Dossier Studio button. The current form will be closed and opened in the Dossier Studio. (Note: must be viewing the web page version and not the PDF version to access this button)

3.) Select/Draw a field and create a packet of maps in the Dossier Studio using the Paradigm options.

4.) Select one or more saved form records in the Form Manager and use a Paradigm to add maps to the Dossier Studio.

After using an opening method the Dossier Studio will either open in a new tab or a new window.

The Dossier Studio has 4 main panels within its interface. The top portion is the Menu bar containing File, Import/Export, selecting, and drawing options.

The left panel contains the Table of Contents and tools to add and remove pages from the packet.

The middle panel is where the actively selected page displays. It can be interacted with using the tools from the other panels.
