How to Allow Pop-Up windows in a web browser.

There are a few features within the Surety® and Surety® Pro mapping software that require a pop-up window to be opened. If you are having difficulty getting your browser to open pop-ups, follow these instructions to change the browser's settings to permit pop-ups.

An easy way of allowing a pop-up window is to click on the indicator within the browser to allow the pop-up to run.

Google Chrome

When a pop-up is blocked in Google Chrome a message will appear in the address bar as an indicator:

To allow the pop-up simply click on the message or icon and select "'Always allow pop-ups and redirects from https://www.suretymaps.com/'" then click Done.

If the pop-up still doesn't appear, try attempting the function again.

Mozilla Firefox

When a pop-up is blocked in Firefox, click the icon on the left side of the address bar to access the Allow option from the drop-down.

Microsoft Edge

A blocked pop-up in Microsoft Edge will display an indicator on the right side of the address bar. Click on the icon and select the Always allow option and click Done.

Apple Safari (iPad version)
First go into the Settings page
Tap Safari
Turn off "Block Pop-ups"

Even with this setting off, Safari still may try to block pop-ups. It will now prompt that it has blocked the pop-up and allow the pop-up to load where it would not have prompted before.
